Game Pass’s second October wave has a busy October 29 and two exit dates

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives October 29, but the wave spans several tiers and platforms. Nine games leave October 31, with Football Manager 26 following on November 10.

THE SHORT VERSION

  • The October 20 announcement adds games from October 21 through November 3, with platform and membership tier varying by title.
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives October 29 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.
  • Nine games leave on October 31; Football Manager 26 and its Console Edition leave on November 10.

The wave runs from October 21 to November 3

Xbox announced the second half of October’s Game Pass changes on October 20. The list begins with Sandustry on October 21 and ends with Pit of Goblin on November 3. That range is useful because the headline release is not the only date that matters: some games arrive earlier in the week, several share October 29, and a separate set leaves the library before November. Treat the announcement as a title-by-title calendar rather than one monthly add.

The platform and membership rows matter as much as the title. Some additions are listed for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; others are PC-only or include handheld access. A subscription tier that includes one game may not include another. Xbox Wire provides the current official list, while Windows Central publishes an independent table. The outlet’s table currently gives Scramble Knights Online an October 22 date, while the Xbox Wire announcement gives October 26. Use the official Xbox date for that title.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade lands October 29

The largest named arrival in the wave is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Xbox Wire lists it for October 29 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with access through Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. The listing describes the story through Cloud’s escape from Midgar and identifies the game as a hybrid of real-time action and command-based combat. That gives a player who has waited for an Xbox or subscription option a specific date and device list to check.

Intergrade is one of several October 29 releases, so it is easy to overlook the platform row while scanning the announcement. A player using cloud access should verify that the game appears in the Xbox app for the account and region in use. Someone who wants a local installation should check console storage and the store’s current product page. Xbox’s announcement is evidence of planned library access, not a claim about download size, stream quality, or whether every save from another storefront transfers.

October 29 also brings several different kinds of games

Mouthwashing arrives on October 29 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and PC through Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is listed for Cloud, Console, and PC through Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Terrible Lizards, a new horror-parkour game, is listed for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Ultimate and PC Game Pass. These entries share a date, but their device and tier rows are not identical.

The earlier additions have their own limits. Sandustry is a PC Game Preview that joins Premium on October 21 while remaining listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Dodo Duckie arrives October 22 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. Scramble Knights Online is described as a Game Preview and day-one Game Pass title for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; Xbox Wire gives October 26 and lists Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The word “Preview” is part of the announced release status, so do not read those entries as finished 1.0 launches.

The wave continues into November

The Séance of Blake Manor is listed for October 27 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. Pit of Goblin arrives November 3 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the same three tiers. Xbox describes the first as a supernatural detective mystery set in 1897 Ireland and the second as an online horror co-op game. The descriptions help explain the genres, but availability remains tied to the platform and tier printed beside each title.

The update also includes existing-game changes rather than only library additions. The Elder Scrolls Online: Season 2 update, Echoes of Skyrim, is dated October 21 and includes a return to Western Skyrim, two solo dungeons, and new rewards. The Finals has a Welcome Pack marked available now for every listed Game Pass tier. World of Tanks Modern Armor: XP Stock is listed for November 3. Those are game updates or benefits, not separate new games joining the library.

Nine games leave October 31

The October 31 departure list includes Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales, and Wildgate. Xbox lists the departing versions across Cloud, Console, and PC for these entries. The announcement encourages members to buy titles at a discount if they want to keep playing, but sale availability and prices can change.

Football Manager 26 has a later date. Xbox lists both the PC edition and Console Edition as leaving on November 10, with the Console Edition available through Cloud, Console, and PC. Separating those dates prevents a common calendar mistake: the nine October 31 departures are not the whole month’s exit list. If one of these games is partway through a campaign, check the store’s departure page and the game’s own save behavior before deciding whether to finish, purchase, or pause.

Check the tier and device before planning a download

Game Pass names, devices, and dates are all part of the offer. This batch includes titles limited to PC Game Pass or Ultimate, titles shared with Premium, and entries with Cloud or handheld support. It is safer to read the full row than to assume “Game Pass” means every tier and device.

There is also a difference between library access and a benefit attached to a game you already own. The Elder Scrolls Online update remains content for that game; The Finals Welcome Pack is an in-game bundle; World of Tanks Modern Armor is a subscriber benefit. The announcement places these under separate headings. If your decision is whether to install something new, focus on “Coming Soon.” If you are tracking a current game, check “Game Updates” or “In-Game Benefits” instead.

Put the dates that affect you on one calendar

For a player waiting for Intergrade, mark October 29 and confirm whether the account has a listed tier and device. For someone playing Deep Rock Galactic or another departing title, October 31 is the nearer deadline. Football Manager 26 has a separate November 10 departure. The remaining additions arrive on October 21, 22, 26, 27, and November 3, so a player can check the relevant store page on the day rather than clearing space for the whole list at once.

Xbox’s announcement is a plan for this wave, and its support terms can vary by region. It does not promise a specific time of day for every addition or a universal save transfer between versions. Use the Xbox Wire schedule for dates and eligibility, then the product page on the device you intend to use. That two-step check is especially important for the October 29 titles, whose membership and platform lists differ.
